What are the 5 Emotional Wounds?
Injustice – Abandonment – Rejection – Betrayal – Humiliation
They can be recognised on the physical form of our bodies, in the way we dress, how we behave when we are together other people, our mannerisms, the words we use, the type of work we do, and how we react when something unexpected happens.
They are present in every aspect of our lives. Getting to know them in order to understand them can be a key to making sense of one’s own life.
Every Wound is linked to one of the five elements and to the corresponding organs/meridians.
The Five Wounds are present in all of us and in our daily lives. They are often seen as flaws to be eliminated, yet they can be a source of immense strength if we learn to turn them to our advantage.

The "Wound of Injustice” type is careful about what they eat, doesn’t enjoy shopping, and reads all the labels.
They are people who are well-suited to success; they put dedication and passion into whatever they choose to do.
People with an ‘Abandonment Wound’ enjoy eating out with others, love going shopping with friends, and prefer to visit the local shops where they’re known by the shop assistant.
They are people who love to devote themselves to their friends and loved ones.
The ‘Rejection Wound’ type is often overlooked by shop assistants; they shop very quickly because they know exactly what they want and prefer not to speak to the shop assistants.
They are people with great intuition and keen powers of observation; they always want to understand the reasons behind things.
The ‘Betrayal Wound’ type chooses the most elaborate or expensive dish, asks the shop assistant for help, and frequents trendy department stores.
These are people who prefer activities that give them the freedom to make their own decisions.
People with a “Wound of Humiliation” love to eat heartily and in good company; they’ll buy an item even if the fit isn’t quite right, and they make a point of standing out at the till.
These are people who have far more resources than they realise.
